Fellowship Square Testimonials

Seniors grandfather enjoying visit from his daughter in Tucson, AZ.

"First the father raises the son, then the son raises the father." Thus it was. A little over a year ago our son David decided I wasn’t getting enough exercise. Checking around he learned there was a professional exercise program right here at Fellowship Square, just a wedge shot from the front door of our apartment. Read the entire testimonial.

I had the good fortune of being acquainted with two of the residents of Fellowship Square who were exuberant in their praise of the accommodations, security and sustenance. When I was widowed at the cusp of 90, the only logical and sensible thing to do was to emigrate to Fellowship Square where my children and grandchildren would be assured that I would be cared for with all the amenities and security of a well kept resort. I'd say first I'm living among people who are seeking the same goal I'm seeking. That goal is eternal life with Jesus Christ. Family members insisted my wife and I come here. The staff here is outstanding. They are always ready to help. The meals are excellent and served by dedicated wait staff. I appreciate the fact my apartment is cleaned twice per month by excellent cleaning staff. Read the entire testimonial.

About eleven years ago, my husband and I had a heart to heart discussion about what we should do at our age in the way of Senior Living apartments. We began our search, looking at several facilities before coming to Fellowship Square Phoenix. We were given a tour, with a complimentary lunch. After the tour we looked at each other and agreed this was THE place to spend the rest of our lives. There would be no more utility bills except the phone and no more unexpected repair bills to surprise us. Read the entire testimonial.

I came to Arizona to visit my son at Christmas time in 2000. I loved the weather and decided it would be good to live here. After visiting many retirement communities we came upon Fellowship Square at Christian Care. The staff we talked with was very informative and kind. Read the entire testimonial.

November 1st, 2009 will be my one year anniversary at Fellowship Square Tucson and I wish I would have moved in two earlier! I had a friend who lived here and kept telling me how wonderful it was. I lived in my own townhouse with beautiful views and in a great location, but after I lost my wife I was lonely.

When I finally decided to move in, it was the best decision I ever made...truly. I attend almost all the trips and social events every month, there is so much going on. I love to volunteer at Fellowship Square Tucson in the Activities center. I feel like I am part of a community. I am very happy to be here.

Prior to moving into Fellowship Square Tucson, my husband and I lived in our own home. While I was still happy in my own home, after loosing my husband, I began to think about what I was going to do living alone in the Foothills. I had no access to public transportation and no family close by and I felt I needed to make a decision. I came to Fellowship Square Tucson first to check it out and tour the facilities and was in an apartment six months later.

I love it here. I have met so many really nice people and neighbors. The food is wonderful! If I didn't have the Dining Room, I don't know what I would do. I don't have to cook and can enjoy dining out every day. There are so many activities all the time. The many parties and the social outings are a plus. I have always loved the theater and there are so many great opportunities to see the many different shows.

I am very happy I made the decision to move to Fellowship Square Tucson. There is always someone to visit with and talk to; you never really feel alone when you are here.

My experience at Fellowship Square Tucson has been nothing but good! I lived in the Villa 2 building originally and moved with my dog Molly to Villa 3, and enjoy it very much. I came to Fellowship Square Tucson through the recommendation of a friend who already lived here. After touring the facilities, I decided this is where I wanted to be and told my sons. I moved in six month later and have not considered living anywhere else since. I cannot believe the affordability and all the services we get.

I have worked at a PCOA Ambassador for other Tucson retirement communities and my church and I love that when I step outside of my front door, I feel like I am in my own home, in my own backyard. I am not stepping out into a hallway or feel like I am in an institution. The Community grounds are beautifully landscaped and the staff anticipates our every wish.

There isn't one staff person who isn't wonderful, my housekeeper is kind and considerate and trustworthy. I tell my friends how our Dining staff is always helpful, patient, kind and smiling. They are always willing and able to make our Dining experience wonderful. I enjoy volunteering in our Activities office-I feel like I am accomplishing something and am a part of something. The volunteer work keeps me active and involved in our community, and challenges me. I love it here.
